He should meditate upon each and every one of the component parts of the transcendental form of the Lord. The yogī is advised to meditate upon each of the spokes. The wheel in the hand of the Lord, called the Sudarśana cakra, has one thousand spokes.
He also killed Śālva by this weapon, and sometimes He wanted His friend Arjuna to use it to kill his enemies ( Mahābhārata, Virāṭa-parva 56.3). There is an elaborate description of this weapon in the Ādi-parva of the Mahābhārata. Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa used this weapon to kill Śiśupāla, a rival of the Lord. The Lord accepts such presentations from His devotees, even though such presentations are eternally His property. Agnideva presented this weapon to Kṛṣṇa in the same way that Rukmiṇī was given by Mahārāja Rukma to the Lord. In some of the Vedic literatures it is said that Agnideva, the fire-god, presented this weapon to Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, but factually this weapon is eternally carried by the Lord. Sudarśana: This wheel which is accepted by the Personality of Godhead (Viṣṇu or Kṛṣṇa) as His personal weapon is the most powerful weapon, greater than the brahmāstras or similar other disastrous weapons.
This divine Cakra is generally portrayed on the right rear hand of the four hands of Viṣṇu, who also holds a śaṅkha (conch shell), a gadā (mace) and a padma (lotus). The Sudarśana Cakra is mentioned in four Vedas as an ultimate weapon of law, preservation to eliminate the enemies and the demoniac, negative forces, protecting good over evil. Sudarśana is described in the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam as follows: Sudarśana Cakra - the disk of auspicious vision Sudarśana, the disk of auspicious vision, is worshipped by Vaiṣṇavas and regarded as the Deity who helps the devotees to clear the difficult path to attain the lord. It is a combination of the words " su" (सु) which means "good/auspicious" and " darśana" (दर्शन) which means "vision". The literal meaning of the Sanskrit word sudarśana (सुदर्शन चक्र) is "auspicious vision". It is used by lord Viṣṇu (Kṛṣṇa) to kill his enemies and protect his devotees. The Lord's Sudarśana Cakra is a spinning, disk-like weapon, which produces intolerable heat, having thousands of flaming sharp edges in two rows moving in opposite directions which gives it serrated edge ( serrate means saw-toothed edge). Everything has been created by your activities, and therefore you are all-pervading.” ( SB 9.5.5) You are the original vision of the Lord, and therefore you are known as Sudarśana. You are the maintainer of the entire universe, and you are the supreme transcendental prowess in the hands of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. “O Sudarśana wheel, you are religion, you are truth, you are encouraging statements, you are sacrifice, and you are the enjoyer of the fruits of sacrifice. The Lord's ultimate weapon, shaped like a wheel Sudarśana Chakra - the Discus of the Lord
